Rush, AR

The town of Rush is on Rush Creek which flows into the Buffalo River. It was a zinc mining town in the late 1800's and into the 1900. When the zinc market fell slowly the town died. These houses were lived in till 1960 and the General Store/ Post Office closed its doors in 1956.

  1. I love this post Eric; the story of the town is great. It's so much fun to see what you're seeing! It sounds like a great trip so far.
